The project that nearly ended my computer's life, but was worth it. This was done in Premiere Pro and After Effects. On Adobe Illustrator, I made one of the projection images which repeated the type of “make me feel normal” as I felt it fit a big theme of Under the Skin. The other projections were made on After Effects.
I filmed by myself on the floor of my small dorm room, with a projector going straight into my eye for over two hours. This project was definitely experimental for me, which led me to a great concept and outcome.
Without spoiling this phenomenal film, my concept was to tell the film backward in an abstract way.
I split the film into four main plot points: her creation, her confusion, the first time she feels positive human emotions, and her being anxious about what or who she was, reality getting under her skin.
